Welcome to The Hoboken Biergarten, the exciting new chapter of Pilsener Haus & Biergarten! We’ve taken everything you loved about Pilsener Haus – the inviting atmosphere, the friendly service, and our beloved beer garden – and made it even better.

We’re excited to announce that we'll be serving dinner five days a week, with special brunch offerings & lunch on the weekends. Additionally, we have planned events for young families and yappy hours for your furry friends.

We aim to become an integral part of the Hoboken community and welcome your suggestions for events and activities you'd like to see here. We promise to always deliver fun and goodness with every visit.

  • Our Culinary Maestro with a Passion for Flavor (and Football!)

    Don't let the smile fool you – Juan Pablo has battled his way to the top of the culinary world, one perfectly seasoned dish at a time. For 22 years, he sailed the high seas with Disney Cruises and Royal Caribbean, bringing international flavors to happy vacationers.

    After trading his sunny days in Brazil and Argentina for the hustle of New York City 10 years ago, he started at the bottom – as a dishwasher. His relentless work ethic and insatiable hunger for knowledge saw him climb the kitchen ladder faster than you can say "mise en place." He spent his holidays soaking up new techniques in cooking classes and volunteering in kitchens just to gain more experience and a unique edge.

    From delicate French sauces to fiery South American spices, he understands the "why" behind every ingredient and cooking method. But most importantly, he knows that the secret ingredient in any recipe is love. (Just don't get him started on the proper way to grill a perfect Argentinian steak!)

    When he's not whipping up culinary masterpieces, you can find Juan Pablo cheering on his beloved Boca Juniors or Liverpool FC. Just don't call football "soccer" ;).

    MEET TONY G! 🍸

    Introducing Tony G, the wizard weaving magic at Hoboken Biergarten. With over 35 years in culinary and hospitality, Tony’s journey is nothing short of epic. Starting at 16 as a busser, he’s climbed every rung to proudly stand as our bar manager today. But Tony’s talents stretch beyond mixology—after exploring graphic design, he lit up NYC’s film scene, even gracing the Howard Stern Show as a cameraman. Beyond the city lights, Tony’s a stargazer—amateur astronomer and astrophotographer—exploring the universe one star at a time. And now? He’s heating things up with his artisan hot sauces. Tony G is the heart and soul of Hoboken Biergarten—a master of his craft with a spirit as fiery as his hot sauces.
